RuleFailure#
This page is generated from the code and must not be edited by hand.
A rule unable to decide on one subject, recorded against the rule.
The first record ever to carry the interpretation class, declared and populated by nothing, because nothing evaluated a rule. Failure is partitioned by who can fix it: access belongs to the environment and comprehension to coverage, and the scan layer records both on a ScanError. Interpretation belongs to the rules, and is recorded here.
A record of its own, not a claim with a conflicting status. A claim is a conclusion the engine derived, and a rule that could not decide derived none. A table of claims holding non-conclusions is a table every reader has to filter before believing anything in it.
It refuses the other two classes, the mirror of ScanError refusing this one, so the partition holds from both sides and a starved rule and a rule unable to decide cannot be recorded as each other.
