Same experimental condition#

This page is generated from the code and must not be edited by hand.

Files whose names give the same amounts and the same condition or reagent words are grouped as one experimental condition.

same_experimental_condition version 2

  • Kind of rule: Which files go together (groups). Says which things count as the same in some respect, and so forms groups.

  • What it concludes: equivalent, named same_condition_as, in respect of experimental_condition

  • Reasoning: defeasible. A conclusion is usually right, and is retracted when a rule it names concludes against it.

  • What it reads: files, which it sorts into groups

Is it available in this version?#

Yes, the engine runs it. It publishes no conclusion yet: it names nothing that would defeat its conclusions, and a rule of this kind may not publish a conclusion that nothing could retract.

What would defeat it#

It names no rule whose conclusion would defeat it.

What it does

component_kinds

["quantity", "word"]

list of text

Which components carry the condition. Quantities for the dose and the duration, words for the agent and the status term beside them.

counted_theme_kinds

["condition", "reagent"]

list of text

The kinds of sense a word must be matched to for it to count. A treatment name the Dictionary has not been taught matches nothing, and groups nothing until a laboratory teaches it.

minimum_components

1

whole number, from 1 to 20

How many such components each side must carry. Without a floor the empty key becomes the largest group in the pool, and it would hold every file whose name says nothing.
