ingence teach COMMAND

ingence teach collisions#

Show the spellings two senses claim, and whether a lookup reports or decides each.

Precedence is a winner and not a tiebreak. Where two senses stand level the lookup resolves to neither, names both and lets a rule abstain; where one outranks the other it wins outright, the loser is shadowed and nothing is said at all.

A decided collision is the one to look at, because it is the engine answering a question on somebody’s behalf without mentioning that there was a question. --decided shows those alone, which is what an install would want to print: what a pack disagrees with the core about, before it bites rather than after.

Read-only, and over the vocabulary rather than over a pool, so it answers without an index. With --project it reads what a person has already decided in the Record.

ingence teach export-answers#

Write the answers in force in a project’s Record as a pack section.

Assignments and definitions, each with who answered and when, in the format the shipped sections use, so archiving a project does not archive what a person taught. Loaded as a pack it adds words, not rules, and stands where teach pack install says a laboratory’s pack stands. An answer scoped to one folder is left out and counted.

ingence teach pack#

Install, list and remove the vocabulary packs a laboratory declares.

ingence teach pack COMMAND

ingence teach pack install#

Install a pack into the project; it is read from the next run on.

From a file, a folder or a web address. An address is fetched now, because a person ran this, and never otherwise (Ingence reaches the network only when you ask it to); what arrives is installed only where its manifest names a data format this version reads and a digest its words match. A pack adds words, not rules. Where the project has accepted a shipped pack, a laboratory’s pack stands with the accepted packs, above the core, and takes a word both claim; otherwise it stands level with the core, and a spelling both claim is a tie a person settles. Ties are listed here at install; teach collisions --decided lists the rest.

ingence teach shapes#

Show the name shapes this pool uses, and how much of it the Dictionary matches.

A skeleton is a name with its content taken out: a recognized term becomes its theme kind and an unrecognized run becomes a placeholder, while separators and order are kept. Grouping them says what shapes a pool actually uses, and how much of it the Dictionary covers.

Carries no gene, protein, clone or project code by construction, which is what makes a corpus of these safe to keep for a pool whose contents are not.

Below the shapes, the reading figure: the word parts understood, unknown and contested, and the numbers, labels, dates and other parts read as such, each a count. None is semantic recall: a contextually wrong hit counts as understood.

Not written into the project by default, for the reason the list of unknown words is not: nothing should accumulate that a person never reviewed. --out writes it where the user asks.

ingence teach unknown#

Show the recurring words the Dictionary matched nothing for.

Computed from the Index on demand rather than persisted as proposals, so nothing accumulates that a person never reviewed and the ranking sharpens as the pool grows without rewriting any past run.

Three outcomes rather than one null. “no_evidence” means nobody has heard of the word and it is a new word for the Dictionary. “conflicting” means the Dictionary has it more than once and the useful action is to declare the ambiguity or drop the weaker surface. “unexamined” means the engine never read it.

Ordered by how many distinct items carry a word, because one appearing forty times in a single name says much less than one appearing once in forty.
